Hi, I’m Virginia James
When I started this blog, the intent was to create a fitness and food log for me to keep and share with others who are leading a journey to a healthy lifestyle. Now, I’m still treading the deep waters of fitness, but thanks to reader feedback, I’m experimenting in the kitchen much more than working out. Both aspects of health are important and need to be balanced out as much as possible.
One year ago, I decided to change my entire lifestyle and lead a plant-based, whole foods life. It was among the best decisions I’ve ever made. It cleared up my skin, brightened my eyes, gave me more energy, and saved me lots of money at the markets! Veganism is not only good for your health, but for the environment, the animals, and can also help reduce world starvation (land used for agriculture could be used to grow crops to feed the hungry instead).
So I have changed this blog from a fitness blog, to a cooking blog! …all vegan foods, all the time. You’ll still be able to look at fitness/health articles by clicking on the ‘Fitness’ section in the menu above.
Everyone thinks vegans eat carrots and lettuce …rabbit food. This is not encouraging at all, but this blog is meant to prove that wrong. Vegans can enjoy pizza, desserts, donuts, burgers, ice cream, etc… because pretty much anything can be vegan-ized, and I’m here to prove that!
Join me in the movement and try one of my recipes today!
I love starting up discussions, answering questions, or simply just receiving a nice message 🙂
