One of the greatest, most multi-dimensional villains of the Batmanverse… just happens to be gaining popularity these days… Harley Quinn!
In fact, I loved her so much, I painted a wooden cut-out of her for a Halloween project last year -life size!
She was beautiful! and I got to share this art project will all of the kids who came by trick or treating 🙂
Sure, Harley has changed throughout the years from the cutesy, cooky girlfriend to the psychotic prankster we all know and love today… but one thing that seems to be consistent is her physique!
This workout may not give you 100% results right away, but it’s a great start for those of you who love to cosplay as Harley Quinn!
Checkout the workout and have fun with it! Play the Batman Animated Theme music and really get into it!
- Name: Dr. Harley Frances Quinzel aka Harley Quinn
- First Appearance: Batman: The Animated Series in September 1992.
- Profession: Arkham Asylum Psychiatrist and Obsession Girlfriend to the Joker.
- Strengths: Impressive fighting skills and Acrobatics.
- Weaknesses: Unrelenting obsessive love of the Joker.
So, what does Harley do to keep herself lean and mean? According to this, lots of punching and kicking! All are body weight exercises that will be sure to get your blood flowing – add handheld dumbbells for strength! Here’s her routine… Let’s get started!
Complete anywhere from 3-7 sets
(Beginners: let’s be safe and start out with 3)
- Jump Squats -10 reps
- Squat Punches -10 reps
- Squat Cross Steps – 10 reps
- Punches -20 reps
- Side Kicks -10 reps
- Hook Kicks -10 reps
- High Knees -20 reps
- Front Kicks -10 reps
- Back Kick Extentions -10 reps
Again, to start out, try doing 3 sets of each exercise (at least!), then work yourself up to 7 if you feel it is too easy
