Why is the Barbell my Favorite to Workout with?
Probably because you could easily workout every muscle of your body while using it! When not having any weight plates on it, it could easily be used to aid you in your stretches -which is awesome for a post workout session.
So, again, in honor of the barbell, I’m going to complete the following workout today.
Just a couple of things to keep in mind: 1. Remember to complete each move as slowly as possible to better engage the muscle being worked. This also give you the time to check your form, and make sure you’re doing it correctly so as to not injure yourself. 2. Do not hold your breath! Your muscles, heart, and brain need the oxygen to flow into your body. If you hold your breath, you are obstructing muscle building oxygen, and retracting it from the brain, which could cause light headedness or even fainting -which could be extremely dangerous while having a barbell on hand -seriously -just breathe!
Complete 3 sets of 15 reps for each exercise below
On my barbell I’ll have at least 20lbs
As always, remember to keep a bottle of water near you and stay hydrated throughout the day.
I hope you enjoy this workout as much as I did!
