Be Practical when working out!
Everywhere on youtube, in magazines, health books and even on television, I’ve noticed people dressing up and getting pretty to go workout. This just isn’t practical. Why look good, when you should be sweating? The main subject you should be implementing while working out is your form, and focus -not whether your mascara/hair gel will run.
Face it, if you’re styling your hair, and packing on the pounds of makeup on your face, you not making your workout a priority here. As a girl, I just toss my hair in a messy pony tail. Since I workout in the evening, I wash heavy make up off my face prior to workout (If i happen to wear anything heavy) and just apply a thin line of eyeliner -that’s it!
My favorite Rule of Thumb is:
Don’t be afraid to Get Dirty!
After all, your body needs to come into contact with germs every so often to build up that immune system!
As I’ve mentioned HERE , you don’t NEED to buy those expensive new weight sets/barbells for your workouts. I like going on craigslist, ebay, or yard sales to get older equipment. -they used to be made in pure metal, which makes them more durable and last longer. Sure they may get a bit of rust but it will still last longer than the new, more expensive brands.
